The PowerSTAR is a hypoid, maximumefficiency, right-angle gearmotor capable of energy-efficient operation for applications include packaging equipment, conveyors, light industrial equipment, and food processing.

The gearmotor’s improved energy efficiency and maximum power density allow for a compact profile without compromising performance, unlike conventional worm and competing hypoid gearmotors. Additional features include ground gearing for whisper-quiet operation, low backlash precision, external finned edges for cooler operating temperatures, and multiple mounting configurations to support easy interchangeability.

The gearmotor includes both 1/8 and 1/5-hp, single-phase 115-V, and threephase 230-V inverter-duty motor options on the 725 gearbox in 13 standard ratios with output torque from 59-878 lb-in.
