The NP2671E2 chip is a high-performance, low-voltage constant voltage driver for stepper motors with unipolar windings

The NP2671E2 chip is a high-performance, low-voltage constant voltage driver for stepper motors with unipolar windings.

Features & benefits

  • EMP16 package allows for current to 500 mA, which improves reliability; pulse input enables easy switching between half and full-step modes

  • 60-V maximum phase output prevents exceeding the motor phase output margin, a common problem with motors with unipolar windings; chip suitable in high-speed motor applications

  • Two-channel x 500-mA continuous output current; output of 0.35-A/phase, 0.5-A acceleration current; external phase logic reset terminal, thermal shutdown circuit, phase origin monitoring output terminal
