High-speed copper-cable assembly
The QSFP+ 33-AWG copper-cable assembly provides 40-Gbps speeds and ultrathin, lighweight features for high-density intrarack applications such as data servers, switches, storage and routers.

The RoHS-compliant cables are offered in outer diameters that are approximately 45% smaller and 50% lighter in weight than the 30-AWG cable for easier access in and out of racks and better airflow management. Additional features and benefits include higher port density, unique external braid termination, optimized paddle card design, standard and customized lengths, and Madison Cable brand TurboTwin cable with attenuation (or signal loss) of 4.8 dB/meter at 5-GHz frequency.
