LED Scanner With No Moving Parts Or Lasers
The Multi-Beam R2100 LED scanner combines three technologies into one device for precise distance measurement — regardless of surface texture. The photoelectric distance-measurement sensor uses pulse-ranging technology (PRT), Ultra-IR LEDs, and Multi-Beam Scan for 2D measurements of an entire area rather than just one point for precise measurement and detection of irregular surfaces.

The sensors emit short pulses of high-intensity light up to 250,000 times/sec for stable and reliable detection to distances of 300 m or more. Compared to triangulation-based sensors, these PRT sensors are not limited by the geometric layout of sensor optics. Additionally, the sensors have no moving parts to break or wear out over time.
