The OptoPulse EIL580P Series incremental encoders provide from 1 to 65,536 pulses. It can set the reference pulse using the master control to ease setup. Users can select reference pulse widths between 90 and 180°, which allows for a configurable pulse sequence independent of the rotational direction.

A power supply provides from 4.75 to 30 Vdc for optional HTL or TTL signal-level configuration.

The encoders can be configured using a special handheld tool while remaining fully installed. Four user-defined buttons on the tool allow for quick and easy programming of current configurations and optional intuitive, menu-driven editing of individual profiles.
