Double valves

Oct. 1, 2013
The CAT-3 DM1 Series E and CAT-4 DM2 Series E-pneumatic double valves exhaust downstream air to help meet the stop-time requirements in machine-guarding applications. The DM1 valves combine monitoring and airflow control functions into two identical valve elements for control Category 3 applications. If valve elements move asynchronously during actuation or deactuation, the valve exhausts downstream air, which results in a residual outlet pressure of less than 1% of supply. The DM2 valves add memory to this combination for control Category 4 applications. The valves lock out due to asynchronous movement of valve elements during actuation or deactuation, also resulting in a residual outlet pressure of less than 1% of supply.Ross Controls, 1250 Stephenson Highway, Troy, MI 48083, (800) 438-7677, www.rosscontrols.com
