The N54 is a new ecological plastic bushing made of 54% raw, renewable materials — vegetable oil rather than the more tradition crude oil. The plastic bushing uses solid lubricants embedded inside millions of tiny chambers that cannot be pressed out. The bushings do not require any oil or grease, so no contaminants are released into the environment. They are also lighter than their metal counterparts, leading to reduced energy consumption. Less energy is required to produce the plastics as compared to metals.
