Thermoplastic Hydraulic Hoses for Medium to High Pressures

Thermoplastic hose from Kurt Hydraulics handles medium to high pressure applications with a strong, yet flexible design for use in constricted configurations. Product line covers SAE 100R7, SAE 100R8, and SAE 100R18 thermoplastic hose with operating temperatures from -40°F to 212°F. The urethane protective covering resists abrasion, ozone, and weather.

The SAE R100R7 for medium pressures hydraulics, such as machine tool applications and lift equipment, uses a thermoplastic nylon inner tube, synthetic textile braiding as reinforcement, and an orange urethane cover. It is rated between 1,000 and 3,000 PSI working pressure, and 4000 and 12,000 PSI minimum burst pressure. It comes in eight sizes between 1/8 and 1 inch I.D. It is also available as twin line hoses.

The SAE 100R8 and SAE 100R18 for high pressure hydraulic, such as agricultural machines, plant maintenance equipment, and construction equipment. These use a thermoplastic nylon inner tube, internal reinforcements, and a black urethane cover. It is rated between 3,500 and 5,000 PSI working pressure and 14,000 and 20,000 PSI minimum burst pressure. It is available in four sizes from 3/16 to ½-inch I.D. It is also available in twin line hoses.

To complete the hose connection properly, the company offers a complete line of couplings and fittings. Thee R7 coupling line works with its thermoplastic hoses. This line includes crimped and swaged varieties. The hose fittings are made in the USA from US made steel.
