High-stability pressure sensors

Oct. 25, 2007
New 3100/3200 Series pressure transducers provide a full-scale accuracy of 0.25%.

Long-term drift is limited to just 0.1% over the full scale per year. Use of sputtered thin-film sensing technology lets these devices fit in a package <1 in. in diameter weighing just 32 gm. They feature an all-stainless-steel design for harsh environments and sense over ranges from 0 to 30,000 psi (2,200 bar). Shock capability meets IEC 68-2-32 requirements, and the sensors will withstand 40-G peak-to-peak sinusoidal vibration. They come in three-wire voltage, two-wire current, or ratiometric output versions.
