Sam Castro, Solution Management – Digital Manufacturing, SAP

Sam joined SAP in July of 2005 with the acquisition of a small company called Lighthammer. At the time, he was doing implementation consulting, field enablement, custom development, and training for what are now core SAP Connected Manufacturing products (Mfg. Integration & Intelligence or MII and Plant connectivity) After a few years, he moved into the SAP LoB Manufacturing Solution Management group which is directly responsible for strategy, direction, and customer adoption of all manufacturing products at SAP. He is specifically responsible for Industrial Analytics which is represented by the SAP MII, DMCi products, of which he is the solution owner.

Ben Hughes, Industry 4.Now Hub OT Specialist, SAP

Ben has 18 years of engineering experience in a wide range of industries. His past experience includes working with many manufacturers to deploy automation solutions on plant floors, developing automated residential lighting systems, and developing custom control systems for the US Navy and Coast Guard.
