The TG5011 is a combined function/arbitrary/pulse generator that covers the 1-µHz to 50-MHz frequency range.

The TG5011 is a combined function/arbitrary/pulse generator that covers the 1-µHz to 50-MHz frequency range. The unit provides high-purity sine waves with low harmonic distortion and very-low phase noise over the full frequency range. The TG5011 uses a pulse-generator mode to provide wide-range pulse width and delay independent of period. Pulse period can be set between 2,000 sec and 80 nsec and the duty cycle can be as low as 1 in 2 billion.
Arbitrary waveforms up to 128k words can be generated at 14-bits vertical resolution and a sampling speed of 125 MS/sec. A front-mounted USB port allows external Flash memory storage of up to 1,000 waveforms. Waveform creation and editing is done within the generator including point insertion, line drawing, and interpolation. Commonly used complex waveforms are supplied, including sin(x)/x, exponential rise and fall, logarithmic rise and fall, Gaussian, Lorentz, Haversine. and Cardiac. The generator is housed in a compact casing with protective buffers and a multiposition stand, but can be half-rack 2U mounted.
