Air knife blows dry and cool

Sept. 13, 2007
The 48-in. Super Air Knife covers a wide surface area for an efficient way to clean, dry, or cool parts, webs, or conveyors.

While the unit produces an 80-psig airflow, operation is quiet at 69 dBA. Compressed airflow, directed to a precise, slotted orifice, creates a uniform sheet of air across the entire surface that immediately pulls in surrounding room air. A 40:1 entrained to compressed-air amplification ratio is produced. For easy mounting, the knife has compressed-air inlets on each end and on the bottom. Multiple units can mount end to end without dead spots. The knives come in 3 to 48-in. lengths in aluminum or stainless steel.
