New Product: Power Supplies

March 6, 2008
The 500-W LZSa Series of industrial power supplies now includes 1-k and 1.5-kW versions for industrial and COTS applications.

The devices come with nominal outputs of 12 (LZSa 1000) or 24 V (LZa1000/1500). User-adjustable ranges are 10 to 15.75 V and 18 to 29.4 V, respectively. The supplies have integral fan cooling and provide full-rated output power from –40 to 60°C, derating linearly to 60% load at 71°C.

The LZSa Series accepts from 85 to 265 Vac, 47 to 440 Hz, and has active power factor and harmonic correction. The unit is designed to provide 20-msec hold-up and ride-through to avoid nuisance tripping during transient electrical interruptions.

Features include remote on/off, front-panel-mounted voltage-adjust potentiometer, remote resistance or voltage programming, and user-adjustable overvoltage protection.
