When used with high-speed machining centers, the HMC ball screw can reach rapid feeding speeds of 100 m/min.

When used with high-speed machining centers, the HMC ball screw can reach rapid feeding speeds of 100 m/min. Compared with the company's standard products, its twostart screw and ball groove profile increase rigidity 80% and load capacity by 60%, even with high lead ball screws. With a small external diameter and a shortened nut length, its volume ratio decreases 50%. Hollow shafts come in diameters of 40 and 50 mm, while the ball screw is available in JIS C3 and C5 grades. It quietly operates at the allowable speeds of 120,000 dN.
