Ultrapure precision regulator

July 11, 2001
Furon 0.

Furon 0.25-in. UPRP (ultrapure regulator precision) delivers aggressive pure chemicals and DI water while keeping downstream pressure to a predetermined set level. The UPRP comes in manually and pneumatically actuated versions. The Furon regulator handles fluid temperatures to 194°F. A PTFE isolation bellows protects system chemistry and, in the pneumatically actuated version, a secondary diaphragm protects the end user's compressed-air system as well. An optional integral leakdetection port is available. All external surfaces are nonmetallic, and the regulator is assembled and tested in a Class-100 clean room.
