Using PSD (position sensitive detector) and APR (automatic power reinforcement), the PZ-V/M Series of photoelectric sensors provides detection stability unaffected by target color, surface reflectivity, angle, dirt, airborne dust, and harsh environments.

Using PSD (position sensitive detector) and APR (automatic power reinforcement), the PZ-V/M Series of photoelectric sensors provides detection stability unaffected by target color, surface reflectivity, angle, dirt, airborne dust, and harsh environments. All 40 sensor models in the series have a visible red beam to ease positioning and setup. Once automatically calibrated, they need no further adjustment. The IP-67 sensors feature a smokecolored lens and high-intensity LED. PSD lets the spot move as the target moves, and APR circuitry adjusts the amount of light emitted according to target color and angle.
