Misumi of the Americas Inc., Schaumburg, Ill. (misumiamerica.com), a leading supplier of custom mechanical components for factory automation, has expanded its family of products to include standard hydraulic and pneumatic manifolds for as little as $11.20/piece with 24-hr delivery. Custom manifolds ship in eight days or less and do not require customer drawings or a minimum order.

According to company officials, the units are suited for cost-sensitive applications that require custom sizing. The independent-circuit or distributiontype manifolds can be configured to meet a broad range of industrial, medical, pharmaceutical, and food applications. The units mount in any orientation with traditional L-brackets or through bolts. Pneumatic applications use 6061-T6 aluminum; medical and food manifolds are of 316 stainless; and hydraulic manifolds are machined from zinc-plated 1018 steel.
