Compact Power Unit

June 5, 2008
Newly redesigned KA compact power unit for intermittent service suits a range of machine-tool, highpressure, and clamping applications.

It combines a pump, electric motor, and tank in one unit that delivers pressures to 10,000 psi (700 bar). The KA has reservoir capacities up to 2 gallons — using less fluid than similar power units, creating less waste, and saving money. The modular KA comes with single and threephase motors, in single or dual-stage pump versions, and works with an array of valves and accessories. Vertical and horizontal installation is possible, and turnkey and customized versions are available.
