The PureMotion cable carrier from Olflex Wire & Cable Inc., Fairfield, N.J., is for high-speed clean-room applications. The one-piece extruded design is reported to reduce noise, vibration, and abrasion. It is recommended for quiet areas or with vibration-sensitive cables and hoses. The carrier supports cables in flexing applications and accommodates a range of complex movement patterns including linear, twisting, and rotary. Five styles are available. The carrier can be ordered in 4 or 8-ft lengths that can then be cut to size. Cables and hoses are inserted through longitudinal slits in the outer surface.
