New Product: Captive Linear Actuator

Feb. 21, 2008
The 28000 Series (Size 11) doublestack captive hybrid linear actuator features engineering thermoplastics in the rotor-drive nut and a stainless-steel Acme leadscrew.

Available resolutions range from 0.000125 to 0.002 in./step (0.003175 to 0.0508 mm). The actuator delivers thrusts of up to 30 lb (133 N). It also has an antirotation mechanism for applications where external antirotation methods are difficult or impossible to employ. Captive linear travel ranges are 0.5 to 2.5 in. (12.7 to 63.5 mm).
