The 788 Series of modular relays from Wago, Germantown, Wis. (www.wago.com), lets engineers switch high currents for a wide variety of input voltages. The 15-mm-wide modules feature pluggable electronics with LED/neon lamps that indicate switching status and provide circuit protection. A lever reliably secures the relays, letting them withstand vibrations. Connection points are marked for easy circuit identification and the relays work with all small switching relays with standard 5-mm pin spacing.

The relays are designed for terminating wire sizes 22 to 14 awg, switching 16 A at up to 250 V, and will handle input voltages of 12, 24 and 110 Vdc, or 230 Vac. They have 4 kV of insulation voltage between the coils and load and carry a UL flammability rating of UL94-VO.They can be ordered with base, relay (SPDT and DPDT versions), and pluggable electronics, or as individual items.
