Small, right-angle gearboxes, developed for camera-positioning applications, feature 4 arc-min backlash

Small, right-angle gearboxes, developed for camera-positioning applications, feature 4 arc-min backlash. The worm/ wheel gearbox uses a singlepiece carbon- steel worm and input shaft, machined aluminum block housing, dual ball bearings for shaft supports, and output bore with optional stainless output shaft.

Additional features include –40 to 100°C operation, 5:1 to 120:1 ratios, and torques to 36 lb-in. at 2,000-rpm input with the P20 or P30. Larger gearboxes with torques to 540 lb-in. at 2,000 rpm with 4 arc-min of backlash are available.
