The VFK400 Series of dc-dc converters provide 400 W of output power

The VFK400 Series of dc-dc converters provide 400 W of output power. The chassis-mount converters measure 7.8 × 5.0 × 1.5 in. and include an integrated heat sink for improved thermal performance. The aluminum heat sink allows operation at higher temperatures with a minimal amount of airflow.

The VFK400 Series accepts an ultrawide 4:1 input and supports either 10 to 36-Vdc or 18 to 75-Vdc isolated input voltages, which is useful when being driven from a fluctuating device like a battery that sees both charging and discharging conditions. The converter comes in 12, 24, and 48 Vdc.

Standard features include overtemperature, overcurrent, and input transient voltage protection. With an external input fuse, the converter also protects against accidental polarity reversal.
