The Infinity 1 electromechanical roller-screw actuator works for over 1,000,000 cycles at 2,500 lb of thrust and 10 ips, is rated for side loads, and self-lubricates. Integrated position transducers have analog and SSI output and deliver 1.7× greater position accuracy than motor encoders. The integrated load and torque sensor measures absolute load in analog millivolts with no translating wires.

Pulley housings are individually machined from a single block of aluminum for added strength/stiffness and to eliminate adapter plates. Drive ratios of 1:1 and 2:1 are standard; custom ratios are available. The units are rated IP64 through IP68, depending on the motor. The assembly incorporates standard NEMA and IEC (brake, encoder, resolver) motor configurations and accommodates liquid-cooled and custom motors.
