NewTek LightWave 10 software lets artists interact directly in the viewport and see changes to lights, textures, and volumetrics.

NewTek LightWave 10 software lets artists interact directly in the viewport and see changes to lights, textures, and volumetrics. The software lets users update their stereoscopic work in real time and provides realistic environment walkthroughs. New features include:

Anaglyph stereoscopic preview, a real-time interocular, “red-blue” anaglyphic separation (anaglyph images are used to provide a stereoscopic 3D effect, when viewed with glasses where the two lenses are chromatically opposite), which lets users view changes as they happen. In addition, Virtual Studio Tools supports the InterSense Virtual Camera Tracking System (VCAM) and 3Dconnexion 3D mouse, allowing interaction with models and scenes in real time. Also, new data-interchange tools support MDD, Autodesk Geometry Cache, FBX, and Collada, making it simple to move data from one application to another.
