EP17TK is a toughened, one-component heat-curing epoxy adhesive/ sealant.

EP17TK is a toughened, one-component heat-curing epoxy adhesive/ sealant. The flowable paste can be formulated for use on vertical surfaces without sagging or dripping. Its service operating range is –300 up to 600°F, and it cures at temperatures from 300 to 350°F for 60 to 90 min. The epoxy bonds to a variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, vulcanized rubbers, and many plastics. EP17TK resists a wide range of chemicals including fuels, acids, bases, oils, and many solvents.

The adhesive/sealant is strong and readily machinable. It has good dimensional stability and low shrinkage upon cure. Additional features include 8,700-psi tensile strength, 387,000-psi tensile modulus, Shore D hardness of >90, and a compressive strength of >13,000 psi.
