Heavy-Duty Check-Valve Connectors

April 27, 2006
True Union end connections on Y strainers, spring-loaded Y check valves, and Y check valves provide highly reliable operation with little maintenance.

The valves and strainer were originally offered with socket, threaded or flanged end connections to fit up to 4-in. pipelines. True Union end connections are available in the same sizes and let valves and strainers remove from piping systems without breaking down piping components. Removing the heavy-duty hex cap on both the valves and strainer lets technicians remove the valve body or strainer screen for maintenance. The all-plastic devices won't stick, jam, or fail due to rust or corrosion.
