The VGS 310 System features a Duraflex suction cup and Coax cartridge and is designed for automated material handling at higher speeds. The decentralized system allows for a reliable grip on porous surfaces and containers. The VGS' design eliminates the need for multiple end effectors to handle different shapes and sizes. The system's Coax cartridge creates a vacuum with compressed air by integrating the internal components of a multistage vacuum pump into a vacuum cartridge, creating high picking speeds for rotary-feeder and robot-picker applications. The vacuum pump is integrated into the "Gripper," a single unit that avoids pressure loss problems. The VGS can operate at pressures below 45 psi. In case of rapid movement, the system can be equipped with a stabilizer fitting around the suction cup for protection during lifts.
