Remote Actuation And Control

Nov. 22, 2006
AirLINE Type-8644 remote process-actuation and control system offers on-off pneumatic functions, analog and digital I/O modules, and fieldbus connections in a DIN-rail-mount assembly with a single-node address.

The module uses 11 and 16.5-mm pilot valves (3/2 and 5/2) with flows to 0.73 Cv and pressure ratings to 145 psi. The valves also incorporate "rocker" technology for fast response, low power consumption, and high cycle life. It uses Allen-Bradley, Wago, Siemens, or Phoenix Contact I/O modules and supports many network interfaces, including Profibus, DeviceNet, Interbus, and Ethernet.
