Zero-Leakage Valve

Nov. 17, 2005
Model-HK5 valves are designed for zero leakage in pneumatic applications.

They feature a diaphragm-poppet design with no sliding seals or metalto-metal contact, and require no lubrication. The directacting solenoid has an isolated coil with minimal armature travel for response times of 0.004 to 0.010 msec. The valve is 12.6-mm wide with Cv of 0.05, 1.8-W power consumption, pressure rating from vacuum to 30 psi, and a temperature range of 32 to 175°F. It features multiple porting configurations and can be used as a two-way or three-way, NO/NC standard fill/exhaust valve, or as a selector or diverter. It has 10-32 UNF ports and mounts on a subbase or machined manifold, with custom acrylic manifolds available. The HK5 comes in 12 and 24-Vdc versions.
