Linear Stages

March 23, 2006
The FB Series of precision linear stages uses ceramic servomotors for high resolution, unlimited travel, and no intrinsic magnetic field.

The stages are based on crossedroller bearings and come with a noncontact linear encoder. Position resolution ranges from 1 m to 10 nm. They are compatible with single or multiaxis configurations with XY or XYZ mounting options. Vacuum-rated and nonmagnetic versions are available. The stages come in a wide range of sizes, with slides as narrow as 50 mm and up to 150-mm wide.
