Nov. 17, 2005
The V290 controller integrates a PLC with an embedded touchscreen display.

The 5.7-in. HMI screen displays graphics and text, both with assignable "touch" properties. Operating voltage is from 10.2 to 28.8 Vdc with a power draw of 5.1 W. Onboard I/O configuration is handled through snap-in digital and analog modules, expandable to 171 I/O points. The V290 also includes PID control with internal autotune abilities, an internal 120k database for recipes/data logging, and remote access and programming. The device communicates through Ethernet via TCP/IP, GSM/GPRS/CDMA, MODBus, CANBus, RS-232 and RS-485.
