Tilt/Sensor Switch

June 7, 2007
The DSA01 tilt/sensor switch is triggered when tilted beyond ±10° horizontally.

The switch is mercury-free and features a sealed body construction for high-contact reliability. The single-pole, single-throw maintained circuit's operating range is On Angle = 10 to 170° and Off Angle = 190 to 350° with a 500-msec settling time between states. Its resistive load is 100 mA at 12 Vdc and life is rated at 100,000 operations minimum. The switch housing is PBT material with nitrile-butadiene rubber rings and contact balls and terminals made from brass with nickel plating. Operating temperature range is –10 to 70°C with a humidity rating of 90% for 96 hr at 40°C.
