New Products: Zinc-Plated Shaft Collars

July 24, 2008
Lead-free carbon-steel shaft collars feature RoHS-compliant yellow zinc plating that offers anticorrosive properties.

The collars come in one and twopiece clamp-style designs with 1/8 to 6-in. and 3 to 80-mm bore sizes. Clamp-style collars do not mar the shaft, provide higher holding power, and are easily adjustable when compared to setscrew-type shaft collars. The collars’ high faceto- bore perpendicularity ensures components are properly positioned and not tilted on the shaft. It also ensures even pressure on interfaced components.
