Fuse Holders

Feb. 8, 2007
Subminiature fuse holders allow quick and easy fuse changes in high-density circuit-board applications.

For use with 8.5-mm-diameter fuses, the holder's barrier design protects leads from arcing. Thru-hole mounting secures the holders placement on PCBs and maintains positioning during wave soldering. The bases are manufactured from UL 94 V-0 thermoplastic with gold-plated, beryllium-copper springs and tin-plated brass pins. Low-contact-resistant tension springs increase reliability and ease installation. Holders are available in two Sturdii-Mount designs, a low-profile type, and a space-saving version where components are placed under the holder.
