Material Products: Thermally Conductive Epoxy

Sept. 11, 2008
Supreme 11AOAOHT is a two-component epoxy adhesive paste.

The adhesive has a 1:1 mixing ratio and a 25 to 40-min working life, depending on mass. It goes on drip and sag-free and cures at room temperature in 24 to 35 hr.

The material has a thermal conductivity of 10 Btu/in./ft″/hr/°F and a dielectric strength over 400 V/mil. Its aluminum-to-aluminum T-peel strength is 15 pli. It resists up to 1,600 psi in shear when bonding two aluminum substrates. The epoxy operates between –100°F and 400°F and tolerates thermal cycling. It bonds metals and ceramics as well as most polymer products. The adhesive absorbs little water and resists oil and most organic solvents.

Supreme 11AOAOHT comes in pint, quart, gallon, and 5-gallon kits.
