Design Assistance For Aluminum-Frame Structures

Feb. 17, 2005
FMSsoft V7.0 lets customers design factory structures and equipment in 3D using current aluminum framing, ergonomic workstations, or conveyor products from Bosch Rexroth.

A free downloadable package includes software modules with bending and load-analysis tools.

The software works in Auto-CAD 2000 and later. A built-in Web link lets users drop FMSsoft-generated aluminum-framing-parts lists directly into Bosch Rexroth's ecommerce site for pricing and ordering. Improvements include completely updated part numbers and more than 70 new modules, including standard profile/end finish configurations and all models of joining plates. Detailed module views let users check basic dimensions before inserting a module into a drawing.
