Microstepping Driver

Sept. 27, 2007
The MForce PowerDrive microstepping driver delivers a 7-A peak, 5-A RMS-per-phase output current with an optional programmable- motion or variable-speed controller and an integrated heat sink and user-friendly pluggable locking connectors.

The system has a 12-to-75-Vdc input voltage range and accepts up to 20 resolution settings from full to 256 μsteps/full step. The 7-A peak/ phase output current controls Size 23 to 41 motors and operates in –40 to 85°C. Interface cables help speed prototyping, parameter setup, and configuring the PowerDrive.
