New Product: Current Sensor

June 19, 2008
The HAB 60-S family of current transducers target automotive battery-monitoring applications.

They’re designed to measure dc, ac, or pulsed-dc currents up to ±100 A. An Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) gives the units an output resolution of 0.03 A with a linearity of 0.2%. Electric offset error is typically 0.075 A across the temperature range from –10 to 65°C, and 0.15 A across the full range from –40 to 125°C. Output is a pulse-width-modulated signal proportional to the primary current. The transducers operate from a 5-Vdc supply.
