Brushless Motor

Feb. 8, 2007
The electrically commutated EC-10 brushless motor is assembled with the coil outside the rotor for good heat dissipation and high-overload capacity.

The motors consume 8-W continuous power, run at speeds to 80,000 rpm, and handle ambient temperatures from –40 to 100°C. High-energy neodymium magnets give the motor a mechanical time constant of 3.5 msec.
