Positive-Displacement Pump

Jan. 11, 2007
The LVP Series positive-displacement pump offers 14-bar/200-psi pressures for thin liquids in a rotary PD pump.

The pump has hard silicon-carbide bushings and a tungsten-carbide-coated shaft in a casing surface-hardened to 62 Rockwell C. The unit has a 160-gpm range and its operating temperature range is -51 to 260°C. The pump's easy-to-pipe, straight-through porting design with raised-face NEMA or IEC flanges and elastomeric O-ring seals on the head, relief valve, and seal gland provide sealing reliability. The unit's self-priming, short-term, dry-run capability and bidirectional pumping design provides nonpulsing, low-shear flow with good vacuum capability and volumetric efficiency. The pump can be completely drained and features 20-min vane replacement without removing it from the system. The LVP Series is designed for use with more than 200 thin (0.1 to 500-cSt viscosities), corrosive, and flammable liquids.
