New Product: Variable-speed control

Jan. 24, 2008
The MDrive34Plus2 Speed Control combines a motor, driver, and encoder, and includes a programmable digital oscillator for accurate, variable-speed control.

The device uses a NEMA-Size-34 brushless 1.8° motor. NEMA-Size-17 and 23 motors are also available. Step and direction output signals can be used to control a second axis that follows the speed of the first. This simplifies wiring and controlling machines with large tables or wide conveyors while eliminating drift between motor speeds. The device works on input voltages from 12 to 75 Vdc and in temperatures from –40 to 75°C.
