Highlocking force holds the rod in any midstroke position. Air pressure unlocks the rod and a spring mechanically clamps (locks) it when air pressure is lost. Holding force is dependent on the rod and piston diameter. The clamps are designed for locking reciprocating motions only. Amlok rod clamps work with NFPA-MF1-style cylinders.
