Focused-light photoelectric

Sept. 13, 2007
The narrowly focused light beam of the Series 0507 rectangular sensor detects objects through holes and gaps, as well as closely lined-up or laterally approaching objects whose distance from the sensor isn't constant.

Characterized by their remarkably small size of 5 x 7 mm, the sensors housing length is 40 mm and they are fully contained. The scratch-resistant spherical sapphire lens projects a virtually cylindrical light beam with a 4-mm diameter, permitting vertical as well as horizontal mounting.

The short-circuitproof sensors operate in a 10-to-30-Vdc voltage range with an output current to 100 mA.
