Active Vibration Isolation Platform

Sept. 15, 2005
The 8001 Series vibration isolation platforms use microprocessor-controlled active feedback to cancel vibrations dynamically in all six translational and rotational modes.

Its ultralow natural frequency (<1 Hz) produces no lowfrequency resonance. The platform actively damps vibrations from 1 to 1,000 Hz regardless of origination source. The standard aluminum platform weighs 40 lb, yet is 500 X stiffer than an air table. Units come in four sizes from 16 X 18 X 3.25 in. to 24 X 31 X 5.25 in. Load capacity ranges from 330 to 600 lb. Selectable top choices include aluminum plate, ferromagnetic stainless steel, plastic laminate, or antistatic laminate and can be ordered with or without mounting holes.
