Linear-Guide Coverstrips

Feb. 3, 2005
BAC coverstrips for Ball Monorail join the Monorail BM linearguideway accessories line.

The strips are a onestep alternative to the traditional plastic caps that cover counterbored mounting holes in a profile rail of a precision linear-guideway assembly. The BAC coverstrips are quick and easy to install. There is no loss of reference surface since the width of the strip is narrower than that of the guide rail. The strips prevent coolant, dirt, and other debris from getting inside the holes. The stainless-steel strips offer a rugged cover that will not bend or break, even if stepped on or subjected to dropped tools during assembly.
