Linear Actuators

Sept. 28, 2006
An alternative to pneumatic or hydraulic systems, the redesigned Bug linear actuators are said to offer improved strength, precision, and reliability, while keeping the same compact footprint of the original.

EGZ Modular for single axis, XY, and XYZ gantries can also be a replacement for applications that presently use a ball screw with external supports or an air cylinder. The actuators travel up to 10 m/sec. Lateral V-guides permit misalignment in external supports. Units have capacities from 180 to 1,800 N. Custom travel lengths of up to 76.2 m are available.
