Direct-Drive Actuator And Controller

Sept. 14, 2006
The direct-drive ServoTube actuator and Micro Xenus controller create an out-of-the-box drop-in replacement for ball-screw and pneumatic positioners.

The matched pair develops velocities to 3.8 m/sec with a peak drive force to 87 lb. The actuator does not require any external position encoder as the integral solid-state sensor provides 12- m repeatability. The actuators meet IP-67 washdown specifications and are food safe. An electromagnetic holding brake is available to support loads in vertical installations.
