Distributed Pneumatic I/O

June 3, 2004
The new FD67 distributed I/O system is suitable for use in Fieldbus systems such as DeviceNet and Profibus.

DISTRIBUTED PNEUMATIC I/O

The FD67 features comprehensive debugging with single-channel diagnosis and shut down. Fully encapsulated electronics and an IP67 rating let the system withstand washdown environments, shock, and vibration. Multifunctional I/Os means no separate input and output modules, reducing system costs. The machine is completely independent from the controls and fieldbus. If end users require a different fieldbus, the machine builder need only change the bus coupler; the I/O periphery needs no modification.
