New Product: Double-stack linear actuators

Nov. 8, 2007
The 35000 Series (Size 14) double-stack linear actuators occupy 1.4-in. (35-mm) square space and come in three designs: captive, noncaptive, and external linear.

Available resolutions range from 0.0158 to 0.127 mm/step and deliver thrust voluntarily to 222 N. The units can be microstepped for finer resolution. A proprietary manufacturing process uses engineering thermoplastics in the rotor-drive nut and a stainless-steel Acme leadscrew to ensure reliability and performance.

Typical applications include medical equipment, semiconductor handling, valve control, X-Y tables, handheld instruments, and telecommunications.
